Pirate Girl

Grace is still a pirate...I've resolved myself to the knowledge she may always be one, despite my best efforts to convert her to a princess.

Old School...

Grace is cooler than cool, especially on her vintage Schwinn Sting-Ray. She's not the kind of girl you go out and buy an assembly line Electra...she requires a little style to her ride :)

Just learned how to ride a two wheeled bike a week ago, and she is a natural. Her whole day revolves around getting outside to ride that bike, and with this 80 degree weather, who can blame her?

Grateful...

I will never do anything ever as perfect and splendid as these three...they are gift enough this holiday season...

Maybe....

This might be my favorite picture

ever taken of Jake.

My sweet,

little,

green eyed boy

is a tough,

sweaty,

football player...

It's a great picture,

I love it.

Pop Warner has been a huge

commitment for us as a family.

Starting with 5 days a week practices

in early August,

in 110 degree heat to

6:45 a.m. start times for Saturday game check ins.

But the biggest sacrifice has come from Jake himself.

He has given up play dates, sleep, and free time

all for his love of the game.

He's not the star Quarterback.

He's not even a starter. (Did I mention his team is 0-8?)

But he absolutely loves being a part of this team, his teammates and his coaches.

He leaves every game happy.

And I have developed a love of football....

Halloween

It is our family tradition that the Fisher family arrives, the kids get all dressed up, we have a great dinner, and we are off and running. Which means Jack and Grace make it to about 5 houses before they are done!

Our "Girl Pirate" & Ironman

Grace & Jake (the picture says it all)

After a marathon of trick or treating (hardly) Jack & Grace got into their matching pajamas courtesy of Auntie Serra!

Trying to be scary skeletons...

Finally a smile....

As you may or may not know, little Miss Grace has been home sick with a pretty ugly case of strep throat for 4 days!! Lots of sleepless nights for mom & dad this week. She has felt just miserable.

Finally, finally today, a smile! Her bright beautiful smile and her rosy little complexion are back......

Just in time for Halloween!
